downloads. It can search to maximize the speed of the file sharing
program (utorrent) that it was created for!
It presents a neat interface. With 3 buttons and a "Statistics" part
that show all the information. One button is the "ACCELERATE!", the
other "SAVE" and "QUIT".
Now what it does when we press "ACCELERATE!" is not very clear. It
doesn't have any settings that you can specify. You can click those
buttons. And run the utorrent program. You can change the settings and
apply them even when utorrent is downloading anything.
What it does is just speeding up the tracker queries / requests. Also,
it makes the connection to peers faster. Nothing else for a faster
download! It all depends, as usual, on the number of Seeds and Peers.
It can also speedup other P2P or direct downloads in the similar manner.
It doesn't seem to be making any change to the windows registry and
doesn't require administrative privileges to run.
Anyway, nice program. No harm in running, if you think it speeds up your internet or File Sharing program.
